Sunday Safari is the name of our Sunday School. Children are a vital part of our church family. Because of this, much love and effort goes into providing for their social and spiritual needs.

Sunday Safari caters for children from the five years old until year six (that's standard four) of primary school. It starts after the half-an-hour that the children are in church - around 10:30am.

The children all meet together in the Garden Room for games, singing and a Bible story which we aim to present in creative ways. Then they divide into their age groups for activities where teachers can get to know a smaller group and interact on a more personal level. We work as a team, with two teachers sharing the teaching role for each class.

The Sunday Safari team are committed to providing a programme that the children enjoy and want to come to each week. The games, singing and fun activities all create an atmosphere where children can learn what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Details:
There is NO Safari for any children during school holidays.
There is NO Safari during the three long weekends, Easter, Queen's Birthday and Labour weekend.
At these times pre-school children will have the option of crèche while school age children will have activity packs available to do in church.
During the summer holiday break, activity packs will be available.
